Blog Introduction

WALT write an introduction for our 2016 blog entries.

Welcome to my first post for 2016.  My name is Marco.  My teacher is Mrs h.  I'm from Auckland.
I love eating star fruits.  This year is 2016 and I'm in Room 23. My hobbies are eating ice-block and playing on my Wii and Pixel gun 3d, 2 player games and Wii sports. I want to get my reading and maths levels super high.  My favourite food is Mcdonlds. It's the Triple cheese burger. The favourite ice block is the lemonade.
(P.S Mrs h is the best teacher.)

Persuasive Argument

I am learning to write a persuasive argument.
It was tricky to find some ideas because some people in my group wouldn't think.
I was proud that I had some good ideas to share with the people in my group.
Next I'll write against the topic instead of for the argument.

Antartica

I am learning to find information from a reading text.
I found it tricky to find ideas because there were lots of ideas.
I am proud that I can use the ideas to make some sentences.
Next I'll find some more information from a reading texts.

2D and 3D

I am learning to recognise and describe 2D and 3D shapes.
I found it tricky to know how many sides, angles/ corners, vertices, edges and faces.
I am proud that I can count how many faces and the vertices there are in the 3D shapes.
Next I will describe more of the harder shapes.

Geohazard Quiz Question

I am learning to write open-ended questions  from a reading text.
I found it tricky to make the questions for the geohazard because I had to  use the right words.
I was proud that I was able to make some questions for the quiz. 
Next I'll find some more information to make questions.
